Role Description
The Media Planner serves as an integral component in the execution of client media strategies, acting as the primary support for the Planning Manager. This role demands close collaboration with the implementation team, under the guidance of the Media Buying Coordinator, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and teams to understand business goals and advertising strategies.
- Bridge creative, client, and consumer needs to formulate effective media campaigns.
- Manage multiple client projects, ensuring strategic alignment and execution.
- Select optimal media channels through strategic analysis and research.
- Conduct detailed audience analysis to guide campaign targeting.
- Develop and present comprehensive campaign proposals.
- Advise on media selection, timing, and placement to maximize campaign impact.
- Cultivate relationships with media owners and maintain a current supplier database.
- Ensure client trust with effective communication and campaign management.
- Pre-review ad content and maintain precise campaign records.
- Evaluate campaign performance, providing actionable insights.
- Create and adjust media plans based on client feedback and data validation.
- Coordinate material scheduling and monitor delivery for campaign execution.
- Analyze campaign KPIs for optimization and report on performance.
- Manage campaign budgets and adhere to best practice standards.
- Engage in team support and cross-functional collaboration for media strategy execution.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3 years of work experience in the media planning field.
- Proficiency in understanding various advertising formats, their distinctions, and their suitability for different contexts.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities for effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and media owners.
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities to manage complex campaigns efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with both clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of work experience in the media planning field.
